Do Not Be Afraid
/

The book of Joshua, chapter one beginning at verse 8, “This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate in it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success. Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.

Both fear and dismay are potential enemies of the Christian reaching his or her full potential. Fear comes when we are called to face an entrenched and strong enemy. Dismay follows when we look within ourselves and don’t see the resource needed to fight the battle.

Remember today that the battle is not yours, it is the Lord’s. His presence with and within us is the assurance that victory will be ours. Thank Him for your victory today.

It’s time to pray!

Thank you Pastor. The Lord gave me a little plaque when I came to this place ALONE. It reads THE LORD WILL BE WITH YOU WHEREVER YOU GO!If not for His presence I would surely die.
