Psalm 18, beginning at verse 39: “For You have armed me with strength for the battle; You have subdued under me those who rose up against me. You have also given me the necks of my enemies, so that I destroyed those who hated me. They cried out, but there was none to save; even to the Lord, but He did not answer them. Then I beat them as fine as the dust before the wind; I cast them out like dirt in the streets.”
Someone once said, “The only thing to fear is fear itself.” Fear takes away a person’s initiative, his will, and courage to go forward. It is ultimately the devil’s greatest weapon. However, God gives strength over all the voices of evil that will try to dominate your thought life. Though they will plead to stay with you, Jesus has given you power to cast them out as dirt in the street.
My brother, my sister, it is time to pray.
