“Who is blind but my servant, or deaf as my messenger whom I send? Who is blind as he who is perfect, and blind as the Lord’s servant” (Isaiah 42:19)?
Here’s a riddle. What has four eyes but can’t see? Well, the answer is the Mississippi River. The other answer isn’t so funny. It’s the husband and wife who have forgotten that their marriage is to be a type of Christ and His Church. He has forgotten His role to sacrificially give and she to respect His calling. Both have forgotten to listen to each other, and neither can see much good in each other anymore.
The good news, my friend, is that Christ still gives sight to the blind. Take time to pray today. God has given you a life partner. There is much value in the beauty of that relationship.
It’s time to pray.
The perfect message at the perfect time for me. God bless you TSC.
Thank you for this word this morning. My ex husband and I have been divorced for over eight years. After all this time, God has suddenly openned our eyes about all we did to ruin and damage our relationship. It hurts to see how we have hurted each other and the time that's been lost. Just as today's word. It wasn't anything out of the ordinary. Just what was said here. But, I praise God, because He is never late. His timing is perfect!! And, IT'S TIME TO PRAY!! And the father through Jesus Christ has come to rebuild every relationship that is broken. There is still hope.
These daily devotionals are a great blessing to me.thank you very much pastor carter and timessquare church.
Thanks for your wonderful messages that encourage me every day. My second husband and I are on our 30th year of marriage. We've had some rough times but God has gotten us through it all. Thanks for this wonderful ministry. Love in Christ Jesus
