Psalm 30:2 says, “Oh, Lord, my God. I cried out to you, and you healed me.”
As I was preparing this devotional, I remembered when I cried out to God many years before I had a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. It was more than a prayer. It was a cry. I was traveling in my car, and while doing so, I stumbled on a radio program where Billy Graham was speaking. I didn’t understand the message, but it caused me to audibly cry out to God for help for the first time in my life. Like King David, I can say that God heard me and healed me.
Today, I’m asking you to do like I once did: call out to God from your heart and then sit back and watch what He does.
It’s time to pray.
