Today I’d like to read the beginning and the end of Psalm 133. “Behold, how good, and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity!…For there the Lord commanded the blessing—life for evermore.”
The Lord Jesus Christ is giving me a new love and appreciation for His church, His body. Instead of focusing on what could divide us, I now find in my heart a willingness to see the greater good; the blessing of life that is promised of God when we learn to walk hand in hand with others who promote the cause of Christ.
May Almighty God give us maturity this coming year, to the point where the lost will see God because of the love that we have one for another. There are many good things that we could do for His Name’s sake, but the greatest we could do is love each other.
It’s time to pray.
Amen

Exodus 30:22-32. This anointing oil was meant only to consecrate the holy articles of the Tabernacle and the Priests, Aaron and sons. ‘Whatever touches them will become holy ... It shall not be poured on the body of an ordinary person.’ Psalm 133 strongly implies our brotherhood is THAT holy. Wow!
