Mark chapter 11, beginning at verse 22: “Have faith in God. For assuredly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be removed and be cast into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that those things he says will be done, he will have whatever he says. Therefore I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them.”
The human heart can be such an oddity. You know, deep down, every person knows that there’s a God, and from time to time, we are reminded that He is for us. In spite of this, though, we insist we can do all things ourselves-that is, until we finally face a particular mountain which we know we can’t climb in our own strength. It happens to all of us.
Don’t stare at your impossibility in hopelessness today. Let God move it for you!
It’s time to pray.
