Listen to the words of Hebrews chapter 4 verses 15 and 16, “For we do not have a High Priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but was in all points tempted as we are, yet without sin. Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need.”
The Christmas story so reminds us of this incredible truth, when the creator of the universe came to us in the weakness of a baby, literally wrapping Himself in the frailty of our human condition. This incredible act of grace shows you and I today that Jesus Christ is not offended by our struggles, but rather joins with us in them to become our source of strength and hope for the future. Knowing these things, we come to an obvious conclusion: it’s time to pray!
