Acts chapter 27 verses 29 to 31 tell us these words: “Fearing lest we should run aground on the rocks, they dropped four anchors from the stern, and prayed for day to come. Certain sailors were seeking to escape from the ship, but Paul said to the centurion and the soldiers, ‘Unless these men stay in the ship, you cannot be saved.’“
1 Corinthians chapter 14 and verse 8 says, “If the trumpet gives an uncertain sound, who shall prepare himself to the battle.“
The truth my friend is simple. Prayerless people can’t see the way forward, nor can they give clear direction in times of trouble. But people who pray can both see and are given a voice of hope for the future. You and I must pray if our voices are going to matter. Many, many are soon going to depend on us.
It’s time to pray!
