The book of Acts, chapter 3, verses 1 and 2, “Now Peter and John went up together to the temple at the hour of prayer, the ninth hour. And a certain man lame from his mother’s womb was carried, whom they laid daily at the gate of the temple, which is called Beautiful, to ask alms of them that entered into the temple.”
You know, it seems to me that our present society is suffering from paralysis. We lack the strength and resolve to rise to what this hour requires. The reason for this is clear: just as a lame man once did, we have settled down to living outside of the place where the power of truth is really found.
Now all it took to bring the strength of God back again was two praying people. Verse 6 says, “Silver and gold I have none, but what I have I give you. In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, rise up and walk!” And they took him by the right hand and lifted him up.
My brother, my sister, it’s time to pray.
