A Resurrected Life
/

“A Resurrected Life,” a special Easter program with Pastor Carter Conlon, speaks about the power of God to transform anyone’s life from death unto life through the resurrection power of Jesus Christ. By exploring Psalm 23 as his text, Pastor Carter shows us the two stages of resurrection life that will cause us to walk in God’s mercy and goodness for the rest of our lives.

At 62 years of age, I have become aware of the lack of fruit in my life and yet am experiencing God wooing me to a deeper place with Him. This unexpected message is reinforcing a loving exhortation I received this weekend.....The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want....
    With deep gratitude,

Amen! Dear friends, How good we can trust the strong arm of our God.

God is our refuge and our strength, an ever present help in trouble. Therefore we will not fear, though the earth tremble and sink hills in the heart of the sea, though estrondem its turbulent waters and the mountains be shaken by its fury. Because there is a river whose channels make glad the city of God, the holy place where the Most High dwells. God is in it! It will not be shaken! God comes to our aid from the break of day. Nations are moved, the kingdoms were moved, he raises his voice, the earth melted. The Lord of hosts is with us; the God of Jacob is our refuge. This is the invitation! Come. And see the works of the Lord, His astounding made on earth. It gives wars cease to the ends of the earth, breaks the bow and shatters the spear, burns the shields with fire. Let's stop fighting! We know that the Lord is God! And it will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth. The Lord of hosts is with us; the God of Jacob is our refuge. Psalms 46: 1:11

This is a profound message and I experienced this 'valley of the shadow of death' about five years ago when The Lord lead me out of a well paid job. Through circumstances he enabled me to Let go of what I knew and cling to Him. He led me to a place where He could speak to my heart. The valley was scary but God is faithful. I spent time alone with Him and he took me deeper in my Christian life. He also directed me to the amazing teaching at time square church.

I´m just left with my heart and soul full of worship, once again, from hearing God´s word!! What a beautiful passage and sermon! Thank you for delivering it to us so clearly and lovingly :) <3 Let´s all pray for the courage, and wisdom, and will to share the word, and our faith with people around us. Let it shine!! It´s so awesome how God can use us even when we are going through troublesome times...we don´t need to try to be perfect and smiling when we are in the midst of the valley of the shadow of death. But God´s peace in us will show! And we can say we have a wonderful councellor through it all! Amen!
