Psalm 119, verses 132-136, “Look upon me and be merciful to me, as Your custom is toward those who love Your name. Direct my steps by Your word, and let no iniquity have dominion over me. Redeem me from the oppression of man, that I may keep Your precepts. Make Your face shine upon Your servant, and teach me Your statutes. Rivers of water run down from my eyes, because men do not keep Your law.”
There is a prayer that must be prayed by those of us who are brokenhearted at the avalanche of immortality in our day. The prayer goes like this, “O Lord, don’t let me become angry at the deficiency of the godless; and neither let me become afraid of their threats. Let Your Word become my strength and the keeping power of my joy in Your heart.”
It’s time to pray.
