The book of Revelation chapter 2 verses 2 to 4, Jesus spoke to people who belonged to Him, “I know your works, your labor, your patience, and that you cannot bear those who are evil. You’ve tested those who say they’re apostles and are not, and you have found them liars. And you have persevered and have patience and have labored for my name’s sake, and have not become weary. Nevertheless; I have this against you, that you have left your first love.”
This was a hard-working church that forgot they could talk to God. Though they had forgotten about those days, Jesus hadn’t. He remembered the tears, the shared love, the answers that He gave when the way forward for them had one time, seemed impossible. He was calling out to His church, just as He’s calling out to you and I today and His cry to her was, “Come back! Let’s walk and let’s talk together again.”
It’s time to pray.
